Kalamazoo Machine Tool says its Model H230 Utility Saw is small enough to be economical but heavy enough for light production, toolroom, job shop or maintenance applications. The saw is capable of mitering 45 degrees or less to the left and 60 degrees or less to the right. This is said to permit a wider range of cutting angles without swinging the workpiece out across the work floor.
Available saw configurations include manual and AutoCut with blade speeds of 115 fpm and 230 fpm, as well as AutoCut with infinitely variable blade speeds from 65 to 320 fpm. All models feature a 1-hp TEFC motor, a 3/4" x 99" blade with solid carbide blade guides and full guarding, an enclosed transmission, a quick-clamping/ quick-adjusting vise and a full recirculating coolant system. Available options include infeed and outfeed conveyors and a mobile attachment designed to allow the machine to be moved quickly and easily. If youre looking for a power tool like a drill that will fit into little nooks and crannies, let us tell you that the Panasonic 15.6 Volt drill/driver has been receiving rave reviews from the consumers.
